Veterinary Assistant (V.A.)
A VAs purpose is to ensure the quality care for pets and promote greater efficiency by relieving technicians and veterinarians of technical and administrative work. The VAs perform a variety of patient- and client-care duties and conduct patient assessments, oversee animals recovering from anesthesia, and perform procedures and treatments.
The VA uses sound judgment when making decisions about patient care, responds quickly and calmly to emergencies, and maintains a high standard of patient care. This person communicates clearly with the veterinarians, other hospital personnel, and clients to ensure that patients receive the care they need. VAs are friendly and flexible in the face of varying expectations from clients and coworkers.They multi-task, prioritize tasks well, and think creatively.
VAs strongly believe in the quality of care provided and communicate this sense of assurance to clients.The VA provides patient and client comfort by keeping the hospital clean and presentable and may provide training to other members of the healthcare team.
Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician ( L.V.M.T)
TheLVMTs perform a variety of patient- and client-care duties, conduct patient assessments, anesthetizes patients, and perform procedures and treatments. LVMTs maintain a high standard of patient care, clear communication with the veterinarians, other hospital personnel, and clients to ensure that patients receive the care they need.
The LVMT is friendly and flexible in the face of varying expectations from clients and co-workers. The LVMT quickly prioritizes, changes focus, multi-tasks, and thinks creatively and must respond quickly and calmly to emergencies, leading others through necessary tasks.
LVMTs strongly believe in the quality of care provided and communicate this sense of assurance to clients. LVMTs understand veterinary services and recommendations and clearly convey the value of the services to clients, promoting a positive work environment and providing direction to and motivating coworkers.
Client Service Representative (C.S.R.)
CSRs provide outstanding client service. CSRs answer the phone, differentiate between routine and emergency cases, schedule appointments, greet clients, admit, and check out patients, process payments, manage financial information, and communicate information between clients and staff.
CSRs enjoy working with people and are caring, friendly, and efficient. They create a warm and welcoming impression and remain professional and courteous while handling multiple tasks with many interruptions. They firmly believe in the quality of care provided and communicate this sense of assurance to clients and understand our services and recommendations and clearly communicate them to clients. They empathize with clients and remain compassionate and well-mannered if a client becomes emotional or discourteous and remains calm and collected in the face of emergency situations. Ultimately, it is the CSR who creates a good first and last impression on our clients and the importance of this role cannot be over-emphasized.
Veterinarian (D.V.M.)
Veterinarians perform a full range of professional veterinary duties, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, and surgery. Considerable independent judgment is used to make decisions in carrying out assignments, having a significant impact on service. DVMs strongly believe in the quality of care provided and communicate this sense of assurance to clients. DVMs can also function as a team lead where promoting a positive work environment and team building skills are fundamental.
